


Terrell O. Taylor, Jr., CLU
A native Houstonian, Terrell graduated from Strake Jesuit High School and holds a degree in Business from Texas Tech University. Terrell earned his Chartered Life Underwriter designation from The American College. He began his career in 1987 with John L. Skalla & Associates. Prior to the formation of Christ Purcell Taylor, he was a founding partner of Skalla-Taylor & Associates.
Terrell is a past President of the Houston Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and was inducted into its Hall of Fame in 2005. In 2006, he served as President of the Houston Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals and as President of the Houston Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Foundation. He is also a member of the Houston Association of Health Underwriters, a member of the Houston and Estate Forum, a Life member of the Texas Leaders Roundtable, and a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable. He has been active with and served on the boards of numerous community and charitable organizations including the Galleria Chamber of Commerce, The Rotary Club of Houston, American Heart Association, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and the Houston Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association.
Terrell and his wife Johnnie, have one son, Terrell O. Taylor, III "Trey."
